It's been a while since we last shared an update on our Mobile Outreach clinic, but rest assured that our team has been working tirelessly to deliver healthcare services to hard-to-reach populations. Despite the challenges posed by the rainy season, our clinic remains in full swing, with our team venturing out every day to bring medical care to those who need it most. In today's blog, we highlight the significance of our Mobile Outreach clinic during this rainy season, and its impact on the communities we serve.
Mobile Outreach Clinic
Orant Charities Africa has been conducting outreach clinics in Malawi since 2016. Our goal was to visit those who would otherwise have no chance of receiving medical attention because of the remoteness of their village. We realized the huge impact this had on those that we visited and decided that we needed to be doing more.
In 2019, we established a professional full-time outreach team that would conduct medical outreach clinics in the Dowa and Kasungu Districts of Malawi. Operating five days a week, the Mobile Outreach Clinic usually treats over 3000 patients a month. The outreach clinics are especially helpful at targeting children under 5 with malaria and those who are not fit enough to walk to the nearest medical center.

Kasese Health Center
The Kasese Health Center is our on-campus static clinic where we treat tens of thousands of patients annually.
