Orant Charities Africa’s mission is to make a sustainable impact in Malawi, by supporting women and communities through programs in Healthcare, WASH, Agriculture, Education, Business Development, and Energy & Environment.
Yes. We welcome interested volunteers and interns whose mission and goals align with ours. However, this depends on our needs and availability of space. If you are interested in exploring opportunities with us, please email us at [email protected].

Orant supports individuals and families in the Dowa, one of the poorest districts in Malawi. Among other things, the people of Dowa, for the most part, lack access to clean water and sanitation services, quality healthcare services, access to business and financial services, quality education and have no access to electricity.

- If you are a Malawian secondary student seeking sponsorship for your school fees you can reach us at [email protected]. If you are eligible, we will work with you to find a sponsor.
- The Orant Ulemu University scholarship application period is open from July until mid August annually. Please visit the application page to apply.
- If you are interested in sponsoring a secondary or university student through Orant, send us an email at [email protected].
Orant’s healthcare centre is open to the public, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
- Business loans are only available only for those living in our catchment area, north of Madisi in the Dowa District. If you are located in this area and you think you qualify, send us an email at [email protected]

Orant has served over 250,000 people since 2015, making a noticeable impact in the communities we serve in Malawi. Our services have improved tens of thousands of lives, from curing disease to providing educational opportunities, securing access to clean water and providing loans to entrepreneurs and business owners, Orant has changed countless lives in our community.
