Celebrating Our Nurses: Caring for Carers

Nurses Are People First
Nurses are more than just their profession; they are individuals with families, needs, and aspirations. To ensure they can provide the best possible care for their patients, we believe it is also necessary to support their overall wellbeing. This encompasses physical health, psychosocial, economic, and environmental aspects.
Supporting Our Nurses
At Orant, we prioritize our nurses’ wellbeing by ensuring their work space is safe and healthy. This includes the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent infections and injuries, maintaining clean and hygienic facilities to reduce the risk of hospital-acquired infections, and promoting a culture of safety and respect. Our nurses’ safety and wellbeing are our top priority.
In addition to a safe working environment, we also provide medical care and support to our nurses. This includes hospital bill assistance to help nurses cover medical expenses, routine medical checkups to monitor their health and detect potential issues early, and access to mental health resources and counseling services to support their emotional wellbeing.
To promote food security and economic empowerment, we offer zero-interest farming loans to help our nurses grow their own food. This initiative not only supports their food security but also provides a sustainable source of income and enables them to take control of their food supply.
We also support our nurses’ career growth by providing zero-interest educational loans to help them pursue further education and training. We cover annual registration fees for medical councils to maintain their professional licenses and offer professional development opportunities, such as workshops, training sessions, and conferences.
Our nurses’ wellness corner provides a safe space for relaxation, stress management, and connection. This quiet area is designed to help nurses take a break and recharge, with access to resources and tools to help manage stress and anxiety.
Let’s join hands in prioritizing our nurses’ wellbeing. As we take care of our nurses, we enhance the care they provide to patients. When nurses feel supported, valued, and empowered, they deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
