Healthy mothers build healthy families. Through our Healthcare Program, we thrive to deliver quality maternal and child health services to rural communities, reaching even remote villages with mobile clinics. From prenatal care to safe deliveries and postnatal support, Orant empowers mothers with the care they need, saving lives and strengthening families across Malawi.
Through our Education Program, we empower girls with scholarships, mentorship, and resources to help them stay in school, preparing them to become informed, confident women and future mothers who uplift their families and communities.
Orant also supports women farmers with training, tools, and sustainable farming methods. Initiatives like the Nkhuni Pang’ono Moto! promote energy-efficient cookstoves that save time, reduce firewood use, and protect the environment.
At the heart of every effort is a mother’s hope for health, education, and opportunity. This Mother’s Day, we celebrate every mother in rural Malawi who rises early to care for her family, who works hard to provide, and goes to bed late. Their courage inspires our work and strengthens our mission to build healthier, more equitable communities.
